Post-secondary Study

What is the experience of Hawaiian students as they pursue higher education and begin their careers?

The Post-secondary Study is a longitudinal study that examines college persistence and completion among Hawaiian students. Research shows that compared to other major ethnic groups, Hawaiian students are under-represented in institutions of higher learning. Kamehameha Schools actively promotes equity in higher education both by preparing its graduates for college and by supporting other Hawaiian students through post-secondary financial aid programs. The purpose of the study is to generate information for policy makers and program administrators to increase the rates of college enrollment and completion among Hawaiian students.
