Evaluation Hui

Are current approaches and methodologies for program evaluation and research appropriate for the Hawaiian population?

This question has led to the formation of the Evaluation Hui--a group of evaluators, program administrators, researchers, and educators that serve the Hawaiian population. The Evaluation Hui’s vision is to develop evaluation and research methods and outcomes that benefit the Kanaka Maoli/Mäori. The hui, in collaboration with New Zealand and Mäori colleagues, provides a forum for exchanging ideas, knowledge, and experiences about culturally responsible methods and protocol for the evaluation of indigenous cultures.

The following publications document the conception and progress of the Evaluation Hui.
