About

Kamehameha Schools recognizes the need for ongoing, system-wide evaluation. PASE’s data-driven research and evaluation efforts help Kamehameha Schools to better understand the worth and significance of all its programs and to make improvements where necessary.

PASE is dedicated to providing Kamehameha Schools with the highest quality knowledge available. PASE believes that reliable and valid measurement, meaningful statistics, solid research, and genuine collaboration are fundamental for creating this knowledge.

PASE’s current evaluation projects include the following:

• Family characteristics of KS applicants

• Academic performance of KS students

• Evaluation of literacy enhancement and other campus programs

• Analysis of campus diversity to better understand whom Kamehameha Schools is serving

• Opinion surveys from the Hawaiian community
