    With extraordinary foresight, Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop, great-granddaughter and last royal descendant of Kamehameha the Great founded Kamehameha Schools.

  • Bulletin System - Kapalama High School (5476)
    Designed in the summer of 2004, the Bulletin System is a Web application created to match the content in the Daily Bulletin and Weekly Calendar documents produced by the Student Activities office. Print production of these two documents has stopped and the data is now being channeled into the Bulletin System. The content has shifted from print to Web opening more avenues for communication extending the information beyond the heights of Kapalama.

    The primary purpose of this partnership was to establish a strong foundation in literacy during the years of kindergarten through third grade. Realizing that parents play a key role in their child's literacy development, the Literacy Enhancement Program has developed several informational packages for parents to help their child learn to read.
