To help our Wai‘anae Coast students and families with the college financial aid process, Hawai‘i P-20 Partnerships for Education, UH West O‘ahu, LCC Wai‘anae, Nānākuli High & Intermediate School and Kamehameha Schools teamed up to offer two, free financial aid one-stop-shop (FAOSS) sessions. The first session took place on March 2nd at the Kamehameha Schools Community Learning Center at Nānākuli (CLCN).

To better inform students and families on the college financial aid process and how to fill out their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Nānākuli High & Intermediate School is providing a series of workshops for senior students and their ‘ohana. Workshops will take place each month, January through April, 2013.

The Institute for Native Pacific Education and Culture (INPEACE) is pleased to announce it has been awarded a $200,000 Roadmaps to Health community grant by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). The grant will support an initiative titled Hawai‘i Community and Schools Partnership Innovation by integrating community resources such as social support services, education and health care to improve learning and build stronger families on the Leeward Coast.
