Kamehameha Schools will be hosting various events throughout the state in the wake of the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals’ recent decision striking down the institution’s 117–year–old policy of giving admissions preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry. This rally will create a special venue for gathering all who support Kamehameha’s policy of giving preference in admissions to Native Hawaiians. It is intended as a unifying event, a time to come together as a community to express our ongoing commitment to improving the capability and well-being of Native Hawaiians.
