Admissions

The decision to admit a non-Hawaiian student to Kamehameha's Maui campus caused hurt, anger and confusion about the schools' admissions policies, and is resulting in an intensive review of those policies. We'll share recent developments with you.
Explorations

Since the Explorations program began 35 years ago, 50,000 Hawaiian boys and girls have had a chance to be a part of this weeklong residential program. We take a look back, and also show you how the young explorers of today spend their week at Kamehameha Schools.

Forestry

When Hamakua Sugar Plantation shut its doors on the big island, many worried that the Big Island's economy might never recover. But Kamehameha Schools is part of an effort to develop a promising forestry industry there, and that work is paying off.

For two weeks each summer, Kamehameha's Kapalama campus turns into a mini United Nations, as young people from across the globe come to the Institute for International Studies. We'll show you how they grapple with global problems and develop leadership skills.
