Grammy Awards
For the very first time, The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences included a Hawaiian Music category in the Grammy Awards, the most coveted of contemporary music awards. We visited with Grammy nominees Robert and Roland Cazimero to hear their thoughts on what this recognition means.

 
         
    JumpRope for Heart
Across the nation last month, school children put down their books and picked up their jump ropes to participate in Jump Rope For Heart, an American Heart Association project promoting healthy hearts in kids and raising money for research. One of the country’s highest school participation rates can be found at the Kap_lama Campus Elementary School.
