Alumni Book Donation
In this story see how alumni are giving back to the community by donating books to 180 public and 20 charter elementary schools in the state. The books are intended to help more elementary school children learn about Hawaiian history and culture. The retail value of the new book collections total more than $64,000.

 
         
    Senior Service Project
In this story, learn how the Kapalama Campus Seniors spent their Senior Day cleaning up Waimanalo. Although most Senior Day's include convoys, waterballoons, and harassing the underclassmen; the Class of 2005 put their bragging rights aside to give back to the community.
 
         
    Greek Day
Take a trip to the island of Hawaii to learn more about the similarities between Greek and Hawaiian culture. The Hawaii campus Juniors participate in various events complete with javelin throwing and wrestling, to learn more about Greek culture and its Hawaiian ties.

The Kapalama Outdoor Education class reaches new heights while rock climbing up the cliffs at Makapu`u. See how students are learning real life lessons while confronting their fears on the face of a cliff. Through this experience students gain trust in each other and confidence within themselves.
