Strategic Implementation Plan:
Moving Forward

These are exciting times for Kamehameha Schools as we move full steam ahead to implement our Strategic Plan. Thanks to the input and involvement of Kamehameha `ohana members from across the country, we've got a plan designed to improve the well being of all Hawaiians.

Aloha Pauahi

December 19th is the most important day on the Kamehameha calendar: it is the day we honor our founder, Ke Ali'i Bernice Pauahi Bishop. In a 100 year-old tradition, the student body celebrates Pauahi in song. Click the "Listen" button (at left) to hear the Senior Women sing the haunting "Aloha Pauahi."
Chairmen of the Board

In what is a revolutionary move for the KS Board of Trustees, the position of Chairman of the board is no longer held for more than one year by any one trustee. Visit with the past (Robert Kihune) and present (Douglas Ing) Chairmen of the Board.
Sail On, Pinky Thompson

Myron "Pinky" Thompson was a Kamehameha trustee for 20 years. He was a catalyst for positive change, always focussed on his vision of a better, more compassionate Hawaii. We look back on the life and legacy of one of Hawaii's most beloved sons.
