Keauhou (Sept 03)
Ho‘olauna Keauhou is a week-long boarding experience open to
Hawai‘i Island non-KS students who will be completing grade

and or perhaps re-introduce ourselves to this wonderful place we call
home.
Kohala:
Land of Kamehameha (Aug 03)
We take you to Kohala, birthplace of Kamehameha the Great, namesake
of our school and the chief who united the Kingdom of Hawai‘i.
Our tour guide is Fred Cachola Kamehameha Schools' graduate, retired
head of Kamehameha Extension Education and a Kohala boy who is devoted
to sharing his knowledge about his home and his hero.
Nahenahe
(July 03)
We may be in the lazy days of summer, but learning something new is
as easy as turning on radio - almost.
Sophomore
Biathlon (June 03)
Each spring, the Kapalama Campus Physical Education Department stages
a freshman run and a sophomore biathlon. The two events teach students
how to get fit and stay healthy.
