Pauahi and the Heritage Center Virtual Tour

Kamehameha's Maui Campus

The first Neighbor Island campus of the Kamehameha Schools features innovations in design, with an emphasis on the use of technology throughout the school. Dr. Rod Chamberlin discusses the bright future of Kamehameha on Maui, and eighth-graders Cyrus Schultz and Awapuhi Dancil take us on a tour of the Pukalani campus.

Hawaiian language: On the Air

In January 2002, KITV's "Word of the Day" feature becomes a collaboration between newscaster Paula Akana (KS '80) and Kamehameha's Hawaiian language students. KS students help to write scripts and present common Hawaiian words that are often mispronounced. And, Kamehameha's advanced television production students get real-world experience. Join us behind the scenes at the KITV studio.

`Aina Ulu

...is Kamehameha's new program that utilizes the agriculture and conservation lands of Pauahi for educational and cultural purposes. Visit one of the projects involving the replanting of a dry forest at Ka'upulehu, Hawai'i Island.
