Kamehameha Scholars
A central part of the mission of Kamehameha Schools is reaching greater numbers of Hawaiian students. The Kamehameha Scholars program is a wonderful example, helping Hawaiian students in the community prepare for success in college.

 
         
    Ka`ili Chun
Hawai i Artist and Kamehameha graduate Ka`ili Chun is this year's recipient of the prestigious Catherine E.B. Cox award for excellence in the Visual Arts. Her latest work, "nau ka wai (the choice belongs to you)" is featured at the Artists of Hawai i show at the Honolulu Academy of Arts.
 
         
    'Ale'a Revisited
Our first Imua TV show featured three young Kamehameha graduates who had just achieved success as Na Hoku Hanohano award winning musicians. The trio of Kale Hannahs, Chad Takatsugi, and Ryan "Gonzo" Gonzalez has gone on to even greater success, becoming one of Hawaii's most sought after musical groups.
