E Naue Mai: A collective vision for Hawaiʻi

The mural-like Hae Hawai‘i, which will remain on display through the end of the week, was “born” on Jan. 30 when 180 haumāna (students) from 14 kula (schools) representing five mokupuni (islands) came together to create the large piece from construction paper, newspaper and glue. Students from charter schools, Hawaiian language immersion schools and all three KS campuses – all of which are part of Kanaeokana, the kula Hawai‘i network.
