KS Honors its Alumni Veterans

November 13, 2015

KS Kapālama High School and the Pauahi Foundation recently honored active duty and retired alumni veterans at Midkiff Learning Center and gave them an opportunity to speak to students in a small group setting. The event followed a breakfast at Kawaiaha‘o  Plaza hosted by the foundation.

Each veteran had an opportunity to speak and share personal experiences from their military service. Students then had a chance to ask questions and learn whether entering a branch of service in the military might be an option for them after graduating from high school.

The vets shared later that they really enjoyed having this opportunity to talk about their military service with students, and visiting their alma mater.
