Kolo Village Blessing

November 13, 2014

The Kamehameha Schools Commercial Real Estate Division (CRED) recently held a blessing and grand opening ceremony for Kolo Village, a six-apartment complex in Mōʻiliʻili. The event celebrated the completion of KS’ $6.6 million renovation of the apartments which reverted back to the educational trust last summer.

The October 29 celebration was the culmination of over a year of renovations to upgrade the interior and exterior of the buildings as well as revitalize the community activity in the area. The 69 renovated units increases the total number of Mō‘ili‘ili rental units refurbished by KS to 142.

KS Photographer Michael Young was on hand to capture the highlights of the event. To read more about the project, see the KSOnline story, “KS’ Kolo Village in Mōʻiliʻili welcomes its first residents.”
