KS Kapālama Elementary School May Day

May 6, 2015

Hundreds of keiki and their ʻohana filled KS Kapālama’s Kekūhaupiʻo Gym recently as the elementary school presented its annual May Day program entitled, “Hoʻolōkahi:  Let’s Come Together in Peace and Harmony.”

The event was streamed live and can be viewed online thanks to IT Education Technology Services staffer Sam Nihipali, and IT Client Services staffers Mike Racoma, Saul Nakayama, Cassie Teshima, Gavon Wong, Andrew Probert, David Tome, and Chaz Dobbs.

The May Day video is available for viewing at http://blogs.ksbe.edu/kes/hoolokahi, and will remain up for the next 30 days. The performance segment of the program starts at about the 8:20 mark or the video.

The theme of this year's May Day program was “Hoʻolōkahi: Let’s Come Together in Peace and Harmony.” Above, the third graders have a big finish to their performance. All students from kindergarten to sixth grade took part in the annual event.
