Founder’s Day Across the State

Kamehameha Schools staffers from Kaumakani to Keaʻau honored the memory and legacy of Ke Aliʻi Bernice Pauahi Bishop with song, praise and dance at Founder’s Day celebrations statewide. The events took place on December 19, Pauahi’s birthday. KAWAIAHAʻO PLAZA: More than 400 KP staffers celebrated Founder’s Day, December 19, at Kawaiahaʻo Church in the sanctuary where Princess Pauahi once worshiped.

KAMEHAMEHA SCHOOLS MAUI: Students, staff, faculty, alumni and honored guests of KS Maui gathered in Ka‘ulaheanuiokamoku Gym to honor Ke Ali‘i Pauahi through mele, pule, hula, mo‘olelo, and ho‘okupu.
