Mandatory Parent Online Internet Safety Training

As part of our 1:1 Laptop Learning Program, a mandatory online training module must be completed by parents before students will be allowed take their devices home during the school year.  The online parent training module will be accessible from Tuesday, July 3, 2018 through Tuesday, July 31, 2018.  The training module is located at https://tinyurl.com/y7sf2wql.  

To assist you with the completion of this training: 

  • Use a computer to complete the training.  While the module is supposed to be compatible with mobile devices (cell phones, tablets, etc.), from past experience we know that users experiencing challenges are using mobile devices.
  • Use Google Chrome, Safari or Firefox to complete the training.  Internet Explorer is not supported. 
  • Update your preferred web browser (Chrome, Safari or Firefox) prior to starting the training. 
  • Only one (1) parent per family must complete the training
  • If you have children in multiple divisions (ES, MS, HS)you are only required to complete the online training once

Also, we hope you can join us on Thursday, August 2nd for our Parent Technology Night at the Keanolani Learning Center on the Middle School campus.  Light refreshments at 5:30 pm, and presentations will start at 6:00 pm.  Childcare will be available.  We will also have computers available for anyone that needs to complete the online training module.
