KS honored by Boys & Girls Club of Hawai‘i

Boys and Girls Club of Hawai‘i honored Kamehameha Schools and its Wai‘anae Coast Region team with its 2017 Champion of Youth Award.

KS was recognized for cultivating a positive relationship with the organization, its monetary support and its crucial collaboration in the ongoing effort to uplift Native Hawaiian keiki in the Wai‘anae community.

The award was presented at the Boys & Girls Club’s annual meeting held recently at Honolulu Country Club. The event was attended by board members, staff and supporters of the organization, including KS Wai‘anae Coast Regional Director Kalei Kailihiwa who accepted the award on behalf of KS.
