While Kamehameha Schools partially subsidizes tuition for students attending one of its campuses, families have the option of applying for financial aid to off-set remaining tuition costs. Financial aid awards are need-based and families must apply each year.

Pauahi Keiki Scholars Preschools

The Pauahi Keiki Scholars (PKS) Preschool Program is a need-based scholarship program providing financial assistance for young keiki to attend a quality preschool in the state of Hawai`i.

Parent Non-Tax Filer Statement - To be completed and returned to FASS by parents who will/have not filed taxes for 2007.

SSS PFS Tax Reference Chart - Use this as an aid in completing the SSS/PFS form. It references your 1040 or 1040A tax forms with corresponding PFS questions.

School and Student Services Fee Waiver Request Form - A limited supply of Fee Waiver Cards are available from FASS on a first come, first serve basis. Please read the downloadable form completely before submitting.

Reconsideration Form - If your financial aid application has been denied or if your award has been cancelled, withdrawn or reduced, you have the opportunity to have the decision reconsidered within 30 days of the notification letter date. All decisions made by the Financial Aid and Scholarship Services department of Kamehameha Schools are final. this form may also be used to report changes to your circumstances which may impact your award amount.

Authorization for Release Student Info- Applicants that are 18 years and older that desires KS Financial Aid and Scholarship Services office to release information regarding their application and pertinent documents to others, including parents or guardians, must consent to the release by completing the Release of Information Form and submitting it to the Financial Aid and Scholarship Services office.

List of Eligible Preschools - This list is updated on a periodic basis as preschools become eligible.

PKS Terms And Conditions - Award acceptance terms.

Parents' Quarterly Report for 2007/2008 Recipients - This form to be completed by parents upon completion of their volunteer hours to the preschool (3 hours per quarter), or workshop attendance (1 per year).

Student Attendance Record for 2007/2008 Recipients - This form is for PKS Provider Preschools to record student attendance which must be at a rate of 85% or higher.
