Kamehameha Schools announced Tuesday it will close Honaunau Preschool on the Big Island and Moloka`i Preschool as a precautionary measure in response to this morning’s strong 7.9 earthquake near the Samoa islands.

The proximately of the campuses to the shoreline prompted the closure of the two schools. All other KS preschools and K-12 campuses remain open.
